  3. sometimes i find very hard understanding which songs stand behind the acronyms used (htgm lmou cthn .. LOL) ..for me it takes longer to figure the song out than to read the post itself.
i'm really a dummy old style mind
  4. hahahaha

There are some tricky ones... DGPFYCC is Daddy's Gonna Pay, and first time I saw it shortened I was like WTF? Other tough ones are IYWTVD (Velvet Dress), SDABTO (Some Days Are Better Than Others), TSOHOSOS (Two Shots Of Happy...) and ITABTAW (I Threw A Brick...) hahaha
  5. but also in writing them .. isn't easier and quicker to write the title or part of it than thinking at the first letter of each word and then writing it? hehehe
wondering if there are two songs that have the same acronym ...
  6. WOWY or MOS are much quicker, but indeed some of that acronyms are harder to write than the actual full title.

And no, I'm not aware of any U2 songs that share acronyms...

I have the same problem, and I'm not old.
  8. Who's home?

  9. I'm home. Alternating between being amused at the shenanigans in the Brazil show thread and harrassing my son about his financial slacktitude. Typical night in.

Amusing shenanigans indeed. I hate people lecturing me about my finances...I have enough saved, I'm happy.

  11. If I wasn't fielding phone calls from cranky creditors wanting to be paid, I wouldn't be saying a word.

  12. In that case...

Sounds like Centrelink, except they never leave you alone and you tell them you're working from 9.30 - 8.30 and they ring up at 10am asking you questions. ''I can't answer you now!!''
