  5. The newest project in my life just became getting dad to take a trip to Soldier Field, Chicago for the show of a certain band called U2 there this summer.

  7. lol Here I am listening to Pearl Jam's Yield and I realized that I'd love to hear U2 covering this album. It has a U2 vibe, specially the guitars, I can almost visualize Edge playing these songs. [Except that I think Larry could do a better job than Jack Iron's]

    This has just happened to me. Error message - "Hard drive failure" came up, so I restarted it and then it done a defrag sort of thing and it still doesn't work at all. It says I have a 'Critical Error' too and that I "may lose personal data".

    Well, at least my external is fine...

    I managed to rescue a lot of info from my poor hard disk, and now have reinstalled Windows and everything is in its right place again (a la Radiohead). But this have been 5 of the most awful days of my recent life - I have seen how much I really depend on my computer
