1. Will listen to it after listening to Lonesome Day by the Boss. I think I may just buy both.

  2. Go for it, 'specially if you can. Bruce usually isn't disappointing - on the new album (Working On A Dream) it has some nice songs and some real crap, so that's about as disappointing an album as he's ever done that I've heard so far. Lucky Town isn't bad either.
  3. About drinking... it should be water, and the tip that has really helped me, try to drink half a litre or something 30 minutes before singing. Because it actually takes 20 minutes for the water to get out in your system and hydrate you. Learning that helped me

I usually have plenty of water, especially between longer songs - or at least with an instrumental in the background, I go off during the little instrumental breaks and drink at least a cup right there so that usually works, or do a quick run around and then come back just in time for the next part.

    I'm still learning though...

Me too! Now I feel like an know-it-all ass... but if you have time, try to drink lukewarm water, cold water makes the vocal cords contract. Like any muscle being exposed to cold. But cold water is better than no

I really have started taking some care of my voice. Losing it like that made me a little more careful. And I would like to have a voice at higher ages too.
  6. I'm not expecting to have much of a voice left by the time I'm in early 30s so I have to be more careful too.

I remember a story about some singers drinking tablespoons of near-boiling water. That surely can't be true.

That doesn't sound like something that would be good for the voice

I have now listened to what you uploaded
  8. Nice song choice too.
  9. Do you want a review?
  10. Axl Rose had mad things for his voice didn't he Drew? He coated it in honey I heard, and only some particular brand or kind of honey.

Something like those lines - I don't think it was ever a particular brand.
