1. Ha, it's morning now but anyway. Good night and we'll flood general chat again!!!

  2. Good morning then! It's almost goodnight here on the other side of the planet actually

Sleep well, and we sure will!

Yeah, I went for a review at our local hospital in Norwich 2 weeks after I did it, and the doctor said then it could be up to 8 weeks before I'm ready to play football. However, I took a risk and went to play 5 weeks on, or maybe 4 - I dislocated the knee-cap in week 4 of the semester, saw the doctor at the beginning of week 7? Sounds about right, I spent best part of two weeks at home with my knee propped up, and at that time the outlook was playing again in week 12 (last week of the semester before the Easter break) at best. I played in week 10, 11 and 12. We don't play on proper pitches, we play on hockey pitch astro turf at the UEA Sportspark - we don't have enough for 11 a side but we play 2 hours a time, and it's fairly physical but I held up all three times (although I'm still not actually sure if I played week 10 lol, memory fails). The problem was, the week I busted it, we were playing on new 3G pitches, the fake turf like they have at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, and it's awful. I don't know how FIFA allow it, quite frankly, it's bloody dangerous in my opinion and I won't play on it again. But yeah, I felt like I could give it a go, had been running up and down Norwich streets whilst perhaps a bit inebriated and not done anything bad to it so I decided to take the plunge, and luckily nothing happened. Yet to go back and play Touch Rugby yet though - I know it's not full contact per se, but I still end up with bashes and bumps every time I play
  4. Who's around?
  5. I'm not
  6. Alright, so anyone around tonight?
  7. "tonight" for you, but still noon for me

  8. Fine! Warm and sunny morning over here, just got out from class, everything perfect so far

    You?

  9. You couldn't have asked for a better day then!

I'm just here bored out of my mind. Was gonna go out a bit earlier but then thought it was far too cold to stay out real late tonight. It was nice earlier on though..something like 14 degrees which is just beautiful. Just doing some computer stuff instead like restoring my iPod and watching a bit of TV in the meantime about motoring.
  10. Motoring and computering is always good - nice way to spend a cold evening But I prefer our lately 24-ish degrees and the lack of rain! And tomorrow evening, guitars and beer on the university's grass

I went to two concerts last year (GnR and U2) and both got rained on. Too funny, like I didn't think it'd happen at two seperate concerts in two seperate cities a week apart. But it was so good too, we hadn't had rain for weeks before that. Always nice when it's warm but when it gets to 45 degrees two weeks in a row that's when you start to hate it.

All I know is tomorrow night it'll be beer o'clock for many hours. So in the evenings you play guitar at the uni, like just for fun?
