I went to a show last night with a few older bands from the 80s and then headed back int town, meeting along the way a fuckin' incredible guitarist - a busker, playing loads of Stevie Ray and Hendrix stuff. He did Red House and in Bob's own words, killin' it, brother!
Yet nobody besides me and my friend stopped to listen, it was only 1.30am! Then we went another bar and got back about 5am.

Yeah it's not an easy one to sing. What I would do myself is record the normal track in a normal vocal then do an overdubbed track with the falsetto in the background.
So it becomes four tracks with two stereo tracks making that up. I do that sometimes; also I may add a last track with vocal effects, lowered in volume but still audible.
There's always a way.
