1. Indeed they do. I went to a show last night with a few older bands from the 80s and then headed back int town, meeting along the way a fuckin' incredible guitarist - a busker, playing loads of Stevie Ray and Hendrix stuff. He did Red House and in Bob's own words, killin' it, brother!

Yet nobody besides me and my friend stopped to listen, it was only 1.30am! Then we went another bar and got back about 5am.

Sounds cool! I didn't do much at all last night, watched Twilight since it was in TV.

Now I feel like warming up my voice
  3. Haha! After last night's show, mine is shot. But I feel like recording something short too. My short isn't what might be called short though.

Ah Twilight, it of ruining perceptions of actual vampires. And yeah we caught some shit on early morning music video show and laughed. some serious crap there worth laughing at.

I'll have to put up some videos of Bob playing. I know he's brilliant and needs to be playing the rounds.
  4. I feel like recording If God Will Send His Angels, that I wanted to record yesterday, but watched Twilight instead.
  5. Go for it! I'd like to hear you do something like that with the lighter style. I might do a Steinman track but gotta get my throat right before trying it.

I have to get my throat warm first. Still have a bit of a morning voice here...
  7. I've had one of those all day.
  8. I've had one of those all day.
  9. If God Will Send His Angels is a tough one to figure out how to sing, since it has got that pretty prominent falsetto backing track.
  10. Well, that didn't turn out too well My voice wasn't up for that yet.
  11. I dropped out earlier, sorry!!!

Yeah it's not an easy one to sing. What I would do myself is record the normal track in a normal vocal then do an overdubbed track with the falsetto in the background.

So it becomes four tracks with two stereo tracks making that up. I do that sometimes; also I may add a last track with vocal effects, lowered in volume but still audible.

    There's always a way.

I guess there is But now I feel more like recording a vocal to something I've written myself.
