  1. I once saw a guy in the subway who was playing One (by U2) on acoustic guitar... I asked if he could play In God's Country and damn hell, he did. I sang with him the whole song and later payed him 5€ - true story. I did a video of it but lost it some time. I have seen him some other times, always playing excellent stuff like Oasis, U2 or The Beatles. Classic guy.

Wow. I'd have definitely had a sing with them. Why not.

I sang with Bob yesterday Red House which was great - and then he played right next to my ear. Those chords went right through my head.
  3. Since I live in a suburb of Gothenburgh and not in town I really don't have much to contribute to this topic. But sometime's you see buskers and sometimes they're good, and sometimes, a little bit too often, they're pretty bad.

    You have cool stories though!
  4. This is the guy we saw last night at the little venue we went to:

  5. Not very good singing voice one that one

I can tell stories too, just not too many about buskers. I could tell some stories from music class or something entirely else though.
  6. That guy you see up there, Brian Mannix, was pretty big in the 80s. 'Nuff said, but I think he was a real bit of fun and got the crowd going. It really was better than I thought before. Oh yes, I have a new song if you'd like to hear it.

And feel free to share a story. I won't share the last part of our adventure yesterday though.

    That, I'd like!
  8. This one is called Cry Over Me. I don't like it but others might.

And I don't start losing my voice until the end when I go for the big notes.
  9. I think I'm gonna record The Wanderer...

  10. Ooooh that'd be cool. That's actually a pretty easy one to do because there's no real high notes. Essentially it's the same vocal style right through. I'd love to try Miss Sarajevo as well, I don't know the Italian part but I can sure as hell try to pronounce them from a lyrics page.

The part I've put after it, you can find out who also wrote You're Right, I Was Wrong but in 2003.

Getting to that high A in that opera part is hard. Mixed voice is a must for me there.

  12. I know but I can always attempt it. The notes I can hit as you've heard before, probably wouldn't work so well. And I know I'd blow my voice out entirely especially how long I like to hold those notes, but it'd be worth it to see how far I can push it.
