1. As an agnostic I my mind sure reacted when a preacher said something very much against the bible. That is where the idea comes from.

Sounds very much like an idea Alice Cooper would come up with. In fact, I picture it as being something like off The Last Temptation.

With it, I could also imagine having this church-organ with a massive children's choir and orchestra beginning it off, going from very quiet to very loud and overpowering, then a few piano notes, string arrangement, more piano, guitar solo and church bells every so often over massive drum beats.

Sound's like you should write it instead I actually already have a guitar intro that I think is pretty heavy
  4. I've only started writing and not even sure which direction that last lot of writing should go in.

My idea is far overblown anyway, but I know eventually I'd love to conduct an orchestra and choir. It would be wonderful.

Have you sung your new lyric?

  6. Not yet. I will though - but not sure how to sing it. Actually, what I did hear today:

  7. Just in order to move this to a more fitting topic, I copy my post from the Drunk Thread:

The biggest hail I have ever seen - and I've seen some really big hail. It broke our big window in the roof - and it hailed and rained inside the house for some hours. Fantastic

  8. That's something to figure out then I would imagine a kind of broken, storytelling, a bit desperate voice. But that's just me, it's your song

It's always fun to figure out ways to sing song, either your own song, or just other songs. Me and my best friend had a lot of fun one day making country versions of songs. And I think we did a reggae version of some song too.

Sergio: That's completely crazy, happens in Sweden from time to time. I've never experienced it though but I know a lot of people who have.
  9. Fuck man!!! You alright?

I'm thinking of doing a sort of Two Beds A Coffee Machine-type vocal for it. It has that kind of vibe - sad, lonely and desperate.
  10. We're alright but the whole neighbourhood is nearly destroyed ... It happens every now and then here too, but it uses to be softer than it was yesterday night - that was absolutely awful to live. I recorded it all in video, will share it when I upload it. Absolutely crazy. One guy, a few houses away, was outside when the big part of the hailing came, and is now at the hospital

Not good eh. As long as he's alive and stable that's what matters, as well as yourselves.
  12. Drew: I would imagine a vocal with a bit more bass then that. But the song's yours and is a very good idea!
