1. Almost his birthday here
  2. Happy Bono-day everyone!

    Sergio: Bad didn't contend?
  3. All songs from all albums contended. Only Streets and Ultraviolet reached the final Streets won, of course, but that shown everyone how big was our "ultraviolet love"!!

Shows everyone? It must have been a big competition then

I think Bad probably beats Streets
  5. Not in their studio incarnations. Sure Bad has been a definitory moment in a lot of U2 shows since 1984 specially with all the usual snipettry, etc... But Streets is THE song, both in studio (which was the version contending) and live forms. Even Bono once recognised that any show can be good, average or so-so until Streets arrives, then the show becomes epic.
  6. I never really liked Streets that much as you all do but since I fell in love with the Slane version I like the song more every time I hear it

I'd say both Bad and Streets have really poor studio versions compared to live. I don't think any of them wins if we're talking studio versions.

That Streets intro doesn't get you every time?

  9. Only live, the intro on the studio version is weak compared to what it is live.
  10. BTW: Hello! Wzup?
