  1. Parts I can read, others I can't. It's like that old 1800s-style handwriting, the very nice type.

    I always write a little bit differently when songwriting... a bit more artistically.
  3. That's good - I can see parts on there that are interesting and what I can read, could take on a real edge and interesting thoughts from it.

    I usually write neat enough but when I'm writing a note or thinking of lyrics, I write them very quickly. I think when I was working I wrote a few lyrics (that never went anywhere) and you could tell I was just scribbling things down, or writing stories when I was waiting for some help.

    I also write lyrics pretty fast... I don't want to lose the chain of thought that I'm on. Lyrics can disappear pretty quickly if one loses inspiration!
  5. But that's the same with anything, really. When I'm writing a program, if I don't write down how it works, I'll forget it very quickly.

    About to listen to these four albums I picked up for $12. Can't do better than that....if they suck so be it, if they're good then that's even better.

    And the fifth - the best title ever. Michael Learns To Rock - Colours. Rock on dude. I'm picking these up for a bargain, and sometimes they're good, sometimes they're crap and sometimes I give them away because they're so fucking bad. At least it opens me up to all kinds of styles.
  8. You should've seen me play football/soccer today... What a game!

    Me and my mate against three other friends... And we played unreal and kicked their asses. Did get really tired and dehydrated in the heat though! But it sure as hell was fun.

    The banner was a white one with Bono at one point, there were a lot less show recordings even for the shows before Vertigo and the torrents, photos, shop, videos etc have all pretty much come along in years gone by. It was quite a small website when I first saw it and how it's changed is amazing.

    I was the 180th member. There's now 47 000+ members and even people who used to post here don't really post any more. Funny things have included a collector constantly PMing people about a Joshua Tree pizza-box for one. Not sure what else there was.

    It's probably the best general U2 site for the discussion part alone.
