    Had a pretty okay day at school. Interesting presentation about the dangers of the internet.

    Sounds like me when I'm alone at home, I plan on getting some things done, but I always end in the world of music, singing, listening, playing. Music

    Right now I'm warming up my voice for some vocalizing and then singing

    If days lasted 36, 48, 72 or 96 hours instead of 24, we could make our dream true and spend lots and lots of hours on teh computer, or playing guitar, sleeping, reading, singing, ... and still find the time to study, tidy up and all those things that we simply cannot do with 24-hours days...


  5. I'm very well, thank you. As stated, I'm vocalizing. Using that vocal program I bought a while back, haven't really gotten disciplined enough to do it every day though. But now I intend to do that
  6. What was the vocal program? You gotta do it regularly enough to keep up - I've done some more decent stuff lately too, but need a proper setup.

    So the dangers of the internet? You can name u2start as a dangerous addiction....

    My mixed voice is getting better and better :) It feels like my voice is getting better. I've been singing a lot recently but just haven't done the program. But now I intend to do it. I really love singing.

    The dangers of the internet is things like child pornography. Was actually a pretty enlightening presentation, I thought I knew a lot more than I did.

    If you can hold the longer notes and without feeling out of breath, you're probably doing well. I was recommended professional lessons the other day but why do I need them. I can sing well enough without them. After all, I wanna, if someone asks me how I did it, I say all by myself. Same with harmonica, if someone asks I say all self-taught. Just make it up as I go and then see what happens. I think it's time to record something new.

    I know the dangers though of the internet. But easy enough to avoid too.
  10. The dangerous thing with learning singing on your own is that, well, if you break the harmonica you can just buy a new one. But if you break your voice it will be very tough to get back. Ask Bono
  11. I'm starting with Keith Richards / Joe Perry ballads now so they shouldn't do my voice in. Songs like This Place Is Empty, and Ten Years are pretty easy to do because they don't really need a strong voice but they definitely need emotion to them. I do eventually want to take up piano - I can just see myself setting up an entire room and playing renditions and adding words and creating music.

    Ah you gotta learn anyway.

    The harmonica I've got is only a diatonic one, but slowly learning new things and how to do bends and slide sounds. I did play to a nice little tune the other day. It used no harmonica but I managed to add one and it sounded pretty good, using the low tones instead of the higher ones all the time. Anyway, that's how most people learn...by messing around.
