1. That. Is. Cool.
  2. I listened to Achtung Baby all the way through yesterday actually and it made me think about it a bit differently, in a way I never thought about it. I could listen to that album without ever getting bored of it. If there is one album, and only one album I could take out of my whole collection - it would be Achtung Baby. It's also funny because my Top 10 songs involve a great amount of Achtung Baby songs - The Fly, Until the End of the World, Ultraviolet & Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses. I've always thought of So Cruel being my least favourite track on the album, but I don't know anymore after listening to it yesterday. I feel the Love Is Blindness studio version is quite weak, BUT the live version is just out of this world, it's just simply awesome. So for the weakest song on the album, I'd either give it to So Cruel or Love Is Blindness. Both great songs, but I suppose I'd have to choose one of them, although I personally think all songs on the album are great. Some better than others of course.

Also, after creating a setlist in the 'Your Perfect Setlist' thread, it made me think of a certain song that wasn't playing in 360, which really should've been played. Drowning Man. It was one song I never paid attention to until late last year. It's an amazing tune, with some great lyrics & a breath-taking melody to it. I just don't understand why they never played it in the end after rehearsing it extensively throughout the rehearsals in Barcelona. What also baffles me is that they continued to rehearse it in Amsterdam & Dublin & I think Gothenburg too. Just why didn't they play such a timeless classic?

P.S. sorry for the bible. I have to rant sometimes to get it out of me.
  3. why you wanna necessarily find weakness where there's not

  5. Im on the bus so I cant obviously keep up with your posting rate... Anyway, I wanna keep on with the AB argument; The Fly hasn't got my neck hairs stood up EVER. That's the difference! Acrobat has, LiB has, UV does (every time), even One has... The Fly hasn't. It doesnt move me. It has nothing special besides that mind blowing solo, and I dont choose my favorite tracks based just in guitar solos
  6. I just did a way too passionate vocal for In A Little While.

''Lyrics and words are just fill-in for guitar solos.'' - Joe Perry.

Ah yes but it has to have a melody and all that stuff too. And the passionate vocal for IALW, Olof?

The passionate vocal was done having the studio version in the headphones and myself to low in the mix, so I didn't hear myself really. The result was some really off key singing due to not hearing myself. I did a better take after that one though.

Ah right, I've done that before and you do a great recording and then you can hardly hear yourself. I hate when that happens.

That wasn't really what happened though... I played the song in my headphones through the audio interface that my mic was connected to, so I heard the song and sang at the same time, without getting the song in the recording, only my singing. The fault I did was too low monitor volume, so the song overpowered my singing in my head phones. So I didn't hear myself which of course led to off key singing.
  11. Have you ever heard Where My Heart Will Take Me (Faith of the Heart)?
