It wasn't that hard to organize the fest. Finding a venue to take us on was the hard part, but our drummer works for a church (as a janitor) that has a big room attached to it- basically just a huge recreational room- that they're letting us use for free the day of the festival. We've booked 4 bands, including ourselves, for the bill, and each member of each band will pay $12 to put towards the massive staging we've rented. A back-lit projection screen will hang behind most of the stage, so we can do a live video feed or whatever graphics we want, and admission will be $2 solely to donate to local food pantries. We won't be making any money off the gig- just a great way to play for a ton of people.
It's a lot of fun, reallyAnd yeah, no videos of the band yet- we haven't had any shows yet and our practices aren't worth taping. I can PM you the setlist though if you care to know what we're playing.
Doesn't sound that hard actually. Sounds great though, wish I could be in a band and actually do something like that. Practically everyone that can play an instrument is in a band at my school, so it's hard to find a band. May just turn out to be a one man band, one day

Please do. I'm interested to see what you're playing. And remember, post the videos up here after the festival!

I don't generally play my guitar there though. I get up and just howl along with the guy who plays there every week.
Had a meeting for my own student company now its almost done. Also my school year is almost done, just some exams in two weeks and than its vacation time
