Its no trouble, you speak English just fine

And yeah, I like the way 3D has adapted...it used to be that they gave you red/blue glasses, and the movie was full of gimmicks that swung out at you and tried to make you jump, and now, 3D is becoming referred to more and more as "Real-D", and the glasses simply make EVERYTHING seem like it really has another dimension, making it look like you're sitting right in front of the scene as its happening. Same with U23D...no "gimmicks" (okay, when Edge turned and his guitar swung out it was a 3D plug, and I seem to remember Bono kicking some water bottles), it was just like you were standing right there at a real concert.

I think they're using the technology brilliantly, myself.

U23D...mmm....my dream. Maybe it's even better than the real concert, because they show you best

moments so close. I didn't see 3D but heard about 4D, when your chair shakes you from side to side,

in a minute you're wet, then it's wind blowing and finally you smell some scents (Ok if it is good )
  2. Anyone around?
  3. Woo Happy St. Patrick's Day
  4. Just came back from the Easter Vigil. Happy Easter to all believers!
  5. Yeah, Happy Easter

I was wondering what's the secular greeting for Easter - if there is one , just Happy holiday?

  6. I think that in English it's "Christ is risen" with the response being "Indeed (or truly), He is risen".

  7. I've heard that one before, no I actually meant the secular greeting (secular = non religious) like how instead of saying Merry Christmas they say Seasons Greetings.

I was emailing some of my lecturers and wasn't sure whether to put "Happy Easter" because quite a few of them are atheists

Oh so. "Happy Easter'' might do, I think that non-religious people have no trouble with rabbits and eggs if they don't perceive Easter in a religious way.
  9. I just read a concert review from a Veritgo//San Jose show written towards the beginning of the tour, and the writer had a few criticisms, some of which were valid...and then I hit this line..

Noticeable exlcusions: Bad, With or Without You, Two Hearts Beat as One

I literally had to blink twice at that...I agreed with Bad and WOWY...I can see John Q Public getting pissed that U2 didn't play those. But even as a superfan, which this writer probably wasn't...how could you be pissed that they didn't play a song that hasn't seen the light of day in (at that time) 20 years?

I'm still a little baffled that he wrote that.

I don't really even mean to start any real debate or conversation over it, it just piqued my interest enough to share it with someone, and this is the only place where anybody would even understand why I was so

I do admit, I did laugh quite a bit when I saw that. I was looking at someone's "1000 Greatest Rock Songs" today and there were only about 5 or 6 U2 songs in it. Two Hearts Beat As One was in it. I'm not joking. I was really confused. There was no Streets, Vertigo, Beautiful Day or anything like that. Off the top of my head, I can remember Sunday Bloody Sunday, Desire and New Year's Day.
  11. Anybody around?
