  5. it's been the most difficult subject I ever had in school, god help me, and in 11th grade I took the very first chance and GOT RID OF IT -- it was the one and only subject I ever got an F as a result in an exam (F being the worst you could get.... zero points - I honestly only wrote my name and the date and that was all I had to say )
  6. random, but I totally scored tickets for the best football game you can get on our national league: Schalke vs Dortmund they gonna play next month in our arena and by chance I got through today on online sale..... yeahness all sold out now, but I'm in for face value

    I wonder when a matche like that one gets played are there a lot of troubles with fans fighting with eachother? Because here when a match like Feyenoord - Ajax gets played the away fans arent even allowed to come because the risk is to high

    is it really that bad?! I mean, when you have Schalke vs Dortmund, there is always 5 times more police and security around, compared to any other game. There is a lot of hatred between those "fans" that are called "Ultras", and they really get together and fight each other physically. Inside the stadium, we sing dirty, non-chalant songs on both sides (to put it mildly ), but when you meet a fan of the other team outside the stadium, you tend to just ignore each other. That's what I have experienced over the years going to such matches myself. But yeah, there is some deeply rooted hate in some of those people on both sides. I wouldn't like to call them fans, though.

    so there is never a chance to go and see the other team in their home stadium when Ajax and Feyenoord play? Too bad.... there is always a special atmosphere during those games. Since when is it this way? did something happen that made the football association react this way?
  9. Its cool that in Germany matches like that can go on a ''normal'' way.

    Ajax-Feyenoord and Feyenoord-Ajax always were risky matches but since 2008, or something like that, away fans arent allowed to go to the away match there were some fights then and the trains where the fans were in got destroyed by fans . It is so bad that the cup final, which take place in de Kuip(feyenoord's home stadium), in 2010 between Feyenoord and Ajax had to be played in two different matches. One in Amsterdam and one in Rotterdam and at both matches away fans werent allowed.

    It just sucks that a couple of idiots destroy the fun for the normal ones


  10. There are five years in my university's Degree in Chemistry, I'm finishing the thrid one (still have some subjects from the 2nd year though )... I expect to be leaving in the 2013/2014 academic year, which is not that bad - only one year behind my ideal schedule (I was born in 1990, so 18+5 years, I should be getting out of uni in the 2012/2013 year)... Enough for me I really like Chemistry, I love it, and that's why I'm studying it. No one forced me to do it or whatever, I just study it for the sake of the beauty of it
  12. Speaking of education, I was at my bank today getting financial advice from an individual who admitted to being bad at math in high school. Should I be worried?
