  1. Yeah, they had some lasers and stuff But in Sweden it doesn't get dark in the night during this time of summer This is every teardrop, last song, 22:45, still not that dark

  2. I was just thinking that Stevens Spielbergs work and U2's work are somewhat analogous, let me clarify...


    The 80's - The classics
    Spielberg: ET, Indy, Empire Of The Sun (granted, Spielberg already made two classics in the 70's, Jaws and Close Encounters).

    U2: The Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree.


    The 90's - Even more success/experimentation
    Spielberg: Steven uses CGI for the first time (in Jurassic Park) and starts to make some more serious themed films like Schindler's List and of course Saving Private Ryan. He also made Hook (not well received).

    U2: The band experiments and depart from their distinct 80's sound with: Achtung Baby, Pop, Zooropa (not so well received either).


    00's - Mixed
    Spielberg: Steven makes all sorts of different movies like War Of The Worlds, Munich, AI, The Terminal, Catch Me If You Can, Indy 4 (later admits it was poor). No classics this decade, and mixed reviews from fans and critics.

    U2: The band ''goes back to their roots'' and is at the top of their game with ATYCLB and HTDAAB. Then NLOTH came, which had a lukewarm reception.


    10's- ...
    Spielberg: Seems like more experimentation with the 3D animation Tintin, and more drama oriented films like War Horse and Lincoln (the biography of Abraham Lincoln).

    U2: Also more experimentation with Songs Of Ascent?

  4. I would like to share something important too:

    I was born in 1996, this inspired U2 so much that they released the greatness of Pop

    My sister was born in 1999, that made U2 release ATYCLB. Which is nowhere near as inspired and excellent work as Pop.

    Conclusion:

    I must be better than my sister! (she hates U2 too)


    It's all very logical isn't it?

  10. Black Holes And Revelations is Muse's worst album in my opinion... And XY is my least favorite Coldplay one too... So I would buy none of them


  11. If you buy a Muse album - get either Origin of Symmetry or Absolution.

    If you buy a Coldplay album - get A Rush of Blood to the Head.
  12. Damn, but I do have some other even more important non-U2 related things that clearly states that I must be the best hahhahahaha

    popmartsarajevo: you could also consider buying H.A.A.R.P live from wembley, it has about the same price as a CD, but is a CD+DVD. It would give you those three songs, and some much more important songs like.... PLUG IN BABY!!!!!!!
