  4. Ah yes I remember in the festivals thread how you were gonna go to this. Good show then I take it? Which band was the best - still would love to see Coldplay one day. I got me two shows coming up later this year - Damien Leith first, a beautiful Irish singer-songwriter and Meat Loaf later in the year.

    Coldplay was the best But The Ark was amazing too, and Paolo Nutini and Brandon Flowers were very good too

    BTW: I asked you a question in your trade topic a while ago.
  6. I haven't heard of The Ark. What are they like? I'll check that trade topic too....not had a lot of time for anything lately but gonna have a look right now.


  7. They're a pretty ridiculous Swedish glam rock band, but holy shit, they were awesome live!!!

    This is their farewell tour, they're in their thirties and I think all of them have families now with kids and doesn't want to tour anymore.

  8. I'll check those out as I always like to hear new bands. Got myself a few new albums the other day on clearance - and I tried Amazon but god are they expensive on shipping. $8 for a 1c album...I say fuck that - I'll stick to eBay or clearance sales.

    I'm not really fan of The Ark, but the live show they put on was awesome, the singer was such a showman!
  10. I've noticed that with a lot of bands....their music isn't the best, but they do a great show and really make it entertaining. Not new manufactured crap - Lady Gaga is about the only really new one doing something awesome even if most of her music isn't much chop, although I liked Born This Way, the album - but they are great showpeople.

    That sounds odd but it's true.
