1. Hey it must have been Party Saturday, we had one too for my little sister who turned 18. Lots of drinking, friends, family and a great fucking night had by all.

You're going to Dublin???? And you didn't tell me? Me, yeah just getting my new external drive with everything copied from my much smaller (but no less inferior - it's treated me well for three years) and seeing what's happening around the interwebs as well as checking out the next piece of useless technology I can get my hands on as well as getting all the NLOTH B-sides re-ripped.

Great to hear about your party Saturday too

Yes, I'm going to Dublin and I told you all hahaha ... Yes, I'm eventually going to Dublin with my girlfriend and two good friends of us (they're also boy and girlfriend, so you could say we go on a double-couple romantic trp, hahaha)... I'm insanely excited, man. You can't imagine.

I hate transferring stuff from hard drives. HATE.
  3. I'm about to have a read of that Dublin topic. Should be fantastic for the four of you - I'll get there one day and everyone from here has to meet up, like a massive u2start 10-year anniversary celebration in Dublin (in other words this means a lot of fun, a lot of drinking and a shitload of everything else). I can't imagine what it'd be like - but I am happy for you to be checking out the heart and centerpiece of U2!

And you know, just the other day on this site I was thinking of all the people I've met through it online. All those I spoke to early in the life of u2start and later from 2007 onwards. It's not just a site anymore, it's like a part of me - five years in November it will be, and what spurred my interest and love in music and all things rock and roll-related. Transferring isn't too bad, finding lots of cool stuff I thought I'd lost and might even post some of it here.
  4. I agree about U2start being a part of us... My U2 fandom wouldn't have grown the way it has or become the big it is without this website. Being a crew member almost since I joined it has of course helped me to compromise with it, but as an user I feel exactly the same way as you.
And man, a massive U2start meeting in Dublin (preferibly at a U2 concert of course) is something I could only dream of... but if it happens............. oh well, I gotta go to the bathroom now, I think you know what I mean...
  5. Totally. I just liked some of the stuff from ATYCLB but knowing there was better stuff out there and being on this site really made it even more so for me to be a bigger fan and become a U2 nut. Not so much lately with new stuff coming out by others but really, U2 is always a part of my life and always will be - sure, they're just a band but to me they're something more.
  6. A bit of an epic day!!! Anybody out there?
  7. Someone's here!
  8. Yup! What's up?
  9. Not too much...4th of July here in the States means massive parties, fireworks, and tons of drinking...all of which shall commence for me within the next hour or two, hopefully- even though its only 3 in the afternoon here!

Getting ready for my big U2 GA day tomorrow. How're you?
  10. I'm epically fine, I visited a record shop today, and when looking through the U2 vinyls, there it is, ACHTUNG BABY! In a nice condition. Price: 89 Swedish Crowns (about ten Euro), I put it back, thinking it was a little pricey. But I felt that I couldn't walk away from it, and now it is, here on my left on the desktop

I feel like I've found the Holy Grail.
  11. NO FUCKING WAY
  12. YOu have found the Holy Grail
