1. KAK. Fuck she's inane. I could feel my IQ dropping with every minute of it.
  2. Yeah she's nuts. She scares the life out of me - I can't watch.

    Anyone around?

  3. I'm here again ;-/ I slept off the codeine this arvo, so I'm awake now. So many bruises...
  4. Hey Sonia! What did you do?

  5. Slipped and fell on some damp pavement on the way to work this morning. Bruised (purple!) knee on the left, sprained ankle on the right, various other sore bits. Ridiculously bad timing. Could have been worse of course.
  6. Ouch. No wonder you were in emergency, and it could have been worse but good to hear you're (relatively) alright - at least hope so. How else have you been?

Yeah, not too bad. Busy though. I really wanted to go the art gallery this weekend to see the surrealism collection from Centre Pompidou, but I'm thinking that might have to wait another week. How are things in the frozen south?
  8. Fucking freezing is what it is, like 9 degrees. I went to the art gallery a few weeks ago but it was the same shit as whenever I went last year.

Apart from a cat we had to put down and being bored, not much else.

That's sad about your cat. Ours are part of the family, when we've lost them in the past it's been just awful for all of us.

We're really lucky up here, our Gallery of Modern Art has fantastic, accessible exhibits from around the world. They do an awesome 'Up Late' program on Friday nights too, with live music and drinks.
  10. It is, because they become so attached. We had this one a year or so, he was a stray, we took him in, got him all trained up and then he's gone. So sad - cancer, internal bleeding, if you can name it he probably had it.

That sounds like an awesome gallery - I'd love to go to a late-night gallery thing where they do music and have drinks and all that kind of cool stuff; but I guess dingy pubs around here do that just as well - saw the band Chain a few weeks ago, incredible atmosphere - started at 10 and finished at 2am. I could imagine them doing that here in Adelaide with our gallery....actually, no I couldn't. This is Adelaide, the most progressive city in Australia. Yeah, sure.

Might be hitting a karaoke joint this Friday which'll be great.
  11. Wzup anyone?
  12. Hey dude!
