  1. Im disappointed its not going to have any games in Toronto since they got the Pan Am games. Id have been interested in making the short drive for the womens world cup if USA was playing there. Sadly nowhere else is close enough to warrant my attendance 4 years from now

    I don't think that "impact" is the right term to define the Slane's rendition of Streets. Feeling or passion are better terms in my opinion. But there's nothing like a good Zoo TV Streets if you want real IMPACT. Check this out at the minute 1:19

  6. Maaan. Our band had our first show ever last night. Went perfectly. The small amount of people that were there really loved our songs (I think) and we really made a connection with them. I had no idea how intense the "high" you get is when performing, it's such a rush, one of the coolest feelings in the world. Can't wait to do it again!
  7. Sounds great Did you get some recordings of any kind, Alex? And yes, the performers' high is really intense... Big amount of adrenalyine on your blood stream! It can be dangerous, though, it can easily make you forget lyrics, chords, to sing out of tune... But yeah, it's great great great

    Oh yeah! There were a few points where I had to calm myself down a bit, and everything went flawlessly from what I've heard!

    As for recordings, we MAY have gotten a video or two, not sure how great the quality will be though, I've yet to see them. I'll check them out later today probably, and if they're any good we'll be uploading them to youtube probably! If not, we're playing a show in August that records a video of your show professionally, and we'll be putting that up for sure!

  11. Hey guys how are you? I got back last evening from my vacation. Me and 3 friends went to Albufeira, Portugal for 10 days and I had an amazing time there
    Relaxing on the beach going out at night and just having fun all day and night.

    So what did I miss here Mofo and Acrobat were played right

    Nothing big. They opened their last show with Dirty Day and closed it with a medley of 11 O'Clock Tick Tock and A Day Without Me. Bono said they would play Acrobat tonight in NY but I don't know whether to believe it or not
