1. I've got a stage piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, some flutes, harmonica kind of stuff, and some weird stuff. I should be able to record something fun I think

I remember as a kid just sitting at a keyboard and trying different sounds.
  2. Hmm, I wonder why my lower vocal range seems to expand when not singing, right now I could almost reach a C#2 just like that. D2 easily. When singing I lose a half note or a full one.
  3. Whats up boys
  4. Watching one of the "Grindhouse" movies that came out about 5 years ago. I've been tallying movies I've seen for the first time this summer- (since 8th May)- and I'm on #58. Bit of a movie buff.

  5. Bagpipe is a Scottish instrument! Annyoing too.
  6. Planet Terror, to be exact...the one where the girl ended up with a machine gun for a leg. Were those popular outside America? Quentin Tarantino directed one, and Robert Rodriguez directed the other, they were released as a double feature.

  7. Speaking of Scotland, Kieran, my band played The Proclaimers' "500 Miles" at all of our gigs this year
  8. That's a lot of movies :O I almost never watch movies, more TV series.

Kieran: I know bagpipe is a Scottish instrument This is some kind of flute that imitates its sound.

Oh, and speaking of Scotland, I've been listening to A LOT of Paolo Nutini lately.
  9. I intend to actually extend my "count" til 8th May 2012, to see how many new ones I see in a year. I make it a goal to see as many as possible, I really have always loved the art of film. Longer than I've loved the art of music, even though music moreso defines me.

I should rephrase, too- not "new" movies- NEW ones to ME...meaning films I've never seen before. So, from all eras.

  10. Ahh, The Proclaimers. My parents saw them a long time back and said they were actually pretty good.

Got any videos of your gigs yet btw?
  11. I do, actually. Pretty good one of Pearl Jam's "Alive" from the other night. Played in front of a pool and our singer did an angelic back-flop into the pool at the end of the song; it was our last song of our last gig of the summer. I'll find it and post it.
