1. I replied to this but for some reason it got lost in the quick reply? Anyway I said good luck to you, and congratulations if it goes through. The anticipation must be a hair unnerving though

  2. That's all I really know about it. It's currently in pre-production and out in early 2012.

  3. Haha! My favourite bit was the dinner scene where he smashes the plate off the wall - "No one interrupt me, ever!". Such powerful acting. I really adored Kevin Spacey's acting in that movie.
  4. Yeah that scene is actually my favorite too. The movie reaaaaaaaaally turns from that point. "Pass the asparagus."
  5. "Can someone please pass the asparagus!?"

Related to Kevin Spacey, have you seen L.A. Confidential?
  6. I'm "late to the table" (and possibly intruding on a e-conversation) but American Beauty is indeed a classic. I own it, as a matter of fact. LA Confidential (and The Usual Suspects) is a solid flick.
  7. I have seen LA Confidential, yes, and I loved that one as well. Such a great movie, I should give it a watch again sometime soon. Usual Suspects is fantastic as well, actually been longer since I saw that one.
  8. And Rum, there's no intruding on a public forum conversation, feel free and welcome
  9. Also just found out that on 12 Aug, I'm going to see "A Clockwork Orange" on the BIG SCREEN, AND meeting Malcolm McDowell, Mr. Alex DeLarge himself!!!
  10. Cool, I'll watch LA Confidential later on tonight then.

I need to watch that movie as well. Congrats on that though, sounds great!
  12. It's messssssed up...and its Kubrick, so it's really long, but it's a great, great film. Second half is seriously almost unbearably slow, but if you've read the book it helps- once you've seen the ending, you know why the slow stuff was so crucial, and its better the second time through (or like I've said, if you read the book first)
