    I'm watching "Fanboys", a comedy about a group of guys who travel across the country to steal a copy of Star Wars Episode I before its released- die hard Star Wars fans, of course. It's funny.
  4. I've heard about that one. I'm a Star Trek nerd though and automatically think Star Wars is shit

    There are too Star Trek fan documentaries, Trekkies and Trekkies 2. I've watched the first one, absolutely hilarious, insane how crazy some people are.
  5. I haven't seen any of the Star Trek movies...I've heard Wrath of Kahn is something though.
  6. It is, The Voyage Home and First Contact are excellent too.

    Wrath of Khan and First Contact are scary, kinda action thrillers. The Voyage Home is a hilarious comedy.
  7. I should really check that out then. I don't need to see anything before hand, do I? I know Wrath is tecnically the second movie.
  8. The first movie is not that good. Its name is The Motion Picture, but a lot of Trek fans call it Slow Motion Picture.

    Wrath and Voyage Home are part of a trilogy, Wrath is the first movie in it, Voyage the last, Search for Spock is the movie in-between.
  9. Alright well I'll add it to my "to watch" queue. You know very well I can rip through 2 or 3 movies a day depending on my work schedule/boredom level.
  10. Wow, the premise of "Fanboys" is actually really amazing. They're not just trying to steal the movie, one of the friends actually has terminal cancer and won't live to see the premiere, so they go to try to steal it so he can die happy. Incredibly touching so far and pretty hilarious too.
  11. My favorite of the movies is probably First Contact.

    I have to mention the new movie from 2009 as well. Excellent action movie, not very Star Trek though. But excellent as a mainstream action movie.
