  1. Ya. They're kind of popular here. Were really big on college radio and have gone a bit more mainstream lately. They're kind of like Dave Matthews Band Light. Jam band type.

  4. Wow, poor typing by me.

    But yes I can't. I'm not quite sure why, especially because I haven't really given them a chance. Being in high school and hearing all of my fellow students rave on OAR and DMB made me really turned off by both bands. I have no reason to hate them I just do. Haha kinda strange.
  5. Yeah I really don't care for OAR- "Shattered" is okay, used to be on all the time when I would drive myself home from high school so it'll just always remind me of being stuck in a parking lot I guess. DMB, however, I love.

    Is anyone around? It's pretty late on this side of the world.

  6. I love it. And I mean that I really LOVE it. A masterpiece of a movie in my opinion. Besides the obvious funny-vs-sad surface, there's a big amount of subtle references to other things like decadence, fight for success, fake love, redemption through work, failure and many others. And all of it wrapped up with a great scent of absurd and surrealistic humour that I also adore. I love Pequeña Miss Sunshine
  7. I enjoyed it & I thought it was really good, but I didn't "really LOVE it". There is some great acting in it, also has a great storyline to it. It does have a good mix between humour & the depression that surfaces throughout the movie.

    It is a very good, very funny movie.

    I feel like I'm the only one on this forum who doesn't watch an enormous amount of movies.

    You're not the only one. I don't watch a lot of them at all, maybe only one each week or even less. I choose them carefully and that's why I end up liking them all

    I don't even watch one a week

    I watch TV series instead


  12. I watch a tonne of TV series these days. Just finished S1 of "The Walking Dead" and am now half-way through "The Pacific."
