  4. It's the same tour in the same way that Dave Matthews Band has the "same tour" every year- they aren't necessarily named, they're not in support of an album, they don't have concrete setlists...they just go out on the road because they're good at it and it's what they do.

    okay, I see. I didn't know that there actually are tours that are not named. But it's obviously not necessary - just go out and play. Always something new to learn

  8. Had my last exams the past weeks and now I'm cleaning up study related stuff. Look what i found:



    Most fun project I ever did, only to be followed by the worst project i ever did

    The crappy transitions and cuts are 50% because i cant do better and 50% because i had to mask some errors in the machine

    and... of course..... great choice of song....

    what exactly is your occupation called once you're through? Mechatronica? We have a similiar occupation in Germany, "Mechatroniker" ... I think until a couple of years ago it was Electrician or Mechanic or something alike.

    edit: a look into the Politics thread might help sometimes.... "I am studying Mechanical Engineering"
  12. Engineer is the occupation, Mechatronics is a specialisation of computer technology, electronics and mechanics. It was very fun to do

    We had to built a factory which could detect the material and the open side of those barrels. Also we had to write a computer program which could control how many balls of which material should be in those specific types of barrels.

    And all this in 5 days Most challenging was the robot which transported the barrels to the trucks. There were quite a few who were hit by the robot as it was pretty buggy and had inpredictable behaviour.

    Think I will do something with mechatronics later
