Most fun project I ever did, only to be followed by the worst project i ever did

The crappy transitions and cuts are 50% because i cant do better and 50% because i had to mask some errors in the machine

    this really looks cool
and... of course..... great choice of song....

what exactly is your occupation called once you're through? Mechatronica? We have a similiar occupation in Germany, "Mechatroniker" ... I think until a couple of years ago it was Electrician or Mechanic or something alike.

edit: a look into the Politics thread might help sometimes.... "I am studying Mechanical Engineering"
  2. Engineer is the occupation, Mechatronics is a specialisation of computer technology, electronics and mechanics. It was very fun to do

We had to built a factory which could detect the material and the open side of those barrels. Also we had to write a computer program which could control how many balls of which material should be in those specific types of barrels.

And all this in 5 days Most challenging was the robot which transported the barrels to the trucks. There were quite a few who were hit by the robot as it was pretty buggy and had inpredictable behaviour.

Think I will do something with mechatronics later
  3. So I haven't been on here in about 5 days, that's because I'm currently in Florida on holiday. Saw some 4th of July fireworks last night - brilliant. I'm currently writing this from an iPad at the Apple Store in Florida Mall. The weather is hot but rainy with thunderstorms and it's 28 degrees. Better weather than Scotland at least

So I will be back here posting everyday on the 17th when I get back to Scotland. I will have plenty of reviews of bootlegs to put on here when I get back as well. I am missing this site and it's friendly community. I will see you all soon!
  4. Good to hear you have such a good time at the other side of the ocean! Great timing to be there with 4th of July

Let us know how everything was when you are back!
  5. Double
  6. I'm also stateside in New York so that's why I've been a bit scarce this week had a great 4th of July even though it was surprisingly quiet was at a wedding on Friday too and unsuprusingly can only remember bits and pieces although I do remember having a great steak, probably the eat one I've ever had lol Uncle Jacks Steakhouse I'm not as fancy as Kieran either with the iPad, I'm just in Macy's hogging Starbucks wifi lol anyway, that's a lot to write on an iPod so good luck to , back on Wednesday
  7. What all has Larry been signing on on the current tour? I noticed him signing on MOM at the Rose Bowel show.

  8. Far as I know, he's still singing Elevation, and yes he sings Moment of Surrender. I'm fairly certain thats it.

  9. DMB are great, they always pull out some great shows. I wish I could go to any of them ... I once met a guy in Mallorca who was a HUGE Dave Mathews fan (and his girlfriend too), he had met Dave more than 5 times in different places of the world and had even his telephone number and all. He was a nice guy, I wish I had kept the contact with him.

I wish you enjoy the DMB show if you eventually go

  10. I can't stand Dave, maybe its because of HS and everyone saying "dudeeeeeee we're gonna get wasted and see DMB this weekend." I don't want him tearing up the grass at my beloved Wrigley.

...plus I love using "Never have I ever been to a Dave concert" during the drinking game Never Have I Ever.
  11. I went swimming in the rain the other day. If you know how hot its been in michigan over the last few weeks you should see no problemn with this.
