  5. I'm about to disappear for the better part of a week- I'll be at a lake house in Northern Wisconsin, water skiing, swimming, and losing myself in the beauty of the northwoods. I'll miss you guys, but I head home the day of Turin!! While I have no internet access up at the lake, once we hit a certain point on the way home, I'll get cell phone reception, meaning Twitter updates, meaning Turin setlist

  9. Hey guys!

    I'm tapped into a shoddy dial-up connection up here in the North Woods, and it keeps crapping out on me, so I probably don't have very long, but I absolutely HAD to check back in with you guys since I've seen some of the rehearsed songs- :O VERY excited to see what possibilities and surprises lay ahead this leg, even if we don't hear every rehearsed song. I accessed the site on my Blackberry on the drive up, and saw that song had been rehearsed, and started flipping out!! I couldn't reply to any posts or listen to the YouTube video, unfortunately (Which the dial-up has given me trouble with as well- thats the whole reason I even logged in up here), but with only a few days between now and the kickoff- safe to say it's keeping my mind occupied up here

    As far as vacation goes, it's been off to a less-than-great start...I'm an avid water skier up here, and on my very first lap around the lake this year, I took a terrible wipe-out, during which the ski flipped off of my foot and the one of the bottom fins of the ski (made of metal) sliced across the back of my head and gashed me completely open. Ended up in the emergency room up here, and got my head stapled closed (hurt like a BITCH, but I'm a guy, so naturally being able to say "i got my head stapled closed" is pretty cool)...so no water for the rest of the trip. Pretty bummed, but now I've got my U2 to look forward to, and I might even take a trip into town today and pick up Arcade Fire's new album.

    Just wanted to check back in, share my excitement for the tour, and let you know about my battles wounds All is well otherwise, just a few nasty headaches and head-wraps, but I'm hanging in there and actually letting some U2 shows I haven't listened to in awhile pull me through. Nothing like the healing power of a great live U2 experience, taped or in the flesh.

    Hello there Matt Well, there has been alot happening this week that you've missed. Some rehearsed songs, and that other song rehearsed too...

    Now that accident sounds horrible Hope it heals soon though

And they come to neutral threads like this one!! Please help us keeping neutral threads free of spoilers too I have edited your post, just to make sure that no one gets spoiled

    PS. Sorry about your accident! I hope you're fine - although I guess you are, since you're writing here with your usual sense of humour
