  2. because we take quiet satisfaction knowing that at the end of the day our favirote band is still going to be together ten years from now. They might sound diffrent, and they might be a little worse for the wear, but they'll still be together, selling out stadiums, long after Kanye, and lady Gaga have become footnotes in the anals of music history.

  5. I know people who hate U2 only because of Bono and guess what? They haven't even listened to a god damn U2 song. Ridiculous.

    How can they say nobody likes U2 when they're the worlds biggest band?

    The fact is our world is growing more secular and to not completely buy into the idea of Nihilism or overt Cynicism we are not only out of the loop, but making life uncomfortable for others who are trying to fit in.

    Just my thoughts.

    Obviously we are from the same place

    When they were here last year, I asked people if they were interested in going with me. But people either hate Bono, or think U2 are too old. Apparently you can't be under 35 and like U2

    People would go with me, but they aren't big fans, they just 'like' them. It's stupid though, you need to listen to the music first. HA, 35. Thing is, alot of people on these forums are under 35
