It's also very dark outside here so that kind of has an influence on my imagination.

Not trying to make a film so much, as just practice my filming skills. I live near a small rail yard, so trains are as good a thing as any to film.

I don't know why, but I think ASOH would work well.

On a random note, I have considered applying to various railroads several times since graduating from High School. Being a locomotive engineer seems like it would be one of the better jobs one could get without going to college.

Also, it ain't that snowy here.

I'd love to work on the railway.

ASOH live version would work well, problem is getting hold of a performance that has little crowd.

EDIT: Well I don't know what it's like there. If it's a light dusting of snow with blue skies, then of course something upbeat would work better than something slow.

Crowd ain't that bad in WAIA version.

Its a light snow, but its very cloudy out.

In Michigan you can count on getting every kind of snowy day imaginable before spring comes.

Really cool mix version of ASOH I just found.

  4. My official U2 360 countdown begins today- only 10 more days until the boys, the Claw, the show, the setlist parties, and three hundred and sixty degrees are back

    TALK IT UP!
  5. A Very Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American U2Starters and to everyone else out there who doesn't celebrate it!!!
  6. Happy Turkey day to my fellow Americans.

    'merica!
  7. Happy Thanksgiving to all stateside as well
  8. Anyone else really disappointed that htey haven't played Fez-Being Born? I think it's safe to assume it's late enough in the game to expect them to try out any tuns they haven't tried yet from NLOTH. I freakin' love this song, it's probably my favourite off of NLOTH. Would've been a killer opener for this tour. Fez being played over the PA, and then the band come in for the Being Born part. Would have been stellar.

Stingray into Being Born would be an epic opener. I don't think it'd be a huge success or crowd pleaser but hell, do something really awesome.
  10. I honestly think the crowd wouldn't have a clue what's going on if they played it Would sound pretty epic though.

Off that point, anybody else covered in snow?

  11. It's heavy snow here in Edinburgh. It's to snow all day today and it's already getting to the level that cars are getting stuck! So hopefully, no school tomorrow! I'll be doing some sledging today I think!
  12. Yeh I'm hoping for no school either, we just finished exams last week so a long weekend is in order I think Might head to the local golf course, there's a huge hill in it that was perfect for sledging last year
