  1. I was at the Chicago 9/13 show and it was probably the best show I've ever been to. I ran home and downloaded the bootleg, which sounds like it is GREAT quality. When I play it (on my ipod or in my car) the sound is never loud enough though. Even when I turn the volume to max it's only at a normal speaking level. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
  2. With iTunes for example you can easily raise the volume of audio files.

    Might have been recorded with less volume. Bootlegs usually don't sound that loud anyway.


  4. Using a technology as ReplayGain or the itunes equivalent it should automatically correct volume at playback.

    Its easy to normalize the volume yourself though. Just use a program called MP3Gain for mp3files, then the mp3 will be louder in every program, player.

    Use it too, although distortion will pop-up with the wrong settings.
  6. I'd love to remaster the show but ideally with the unedited audio file (i.e. not broken up into individual songs).

    Is there any way I can get a copy? I searched for Randombloke (who recorded it) among users but couldn't find them. Any tips?

    Just get the lossless FLAC files. They can be joined together without gaps. I'm not sure if we host the lossless files at the moment.

    I strongly suggest that you wait with the remaster. Better recordings may surface. At this point in the tour more people are interested in tomorrows shows than yesterday's anyway
  8. Thanks for the advice guys! I downloaded mp3gain and was able to turn the sound up. Unfortunately with that I got a little more static too, and I just don't feel surrounded by the music when I blast it in my car like I want to be. Guess I'll wait for a better quality recording
