1. cool, that will be ace, I saw their DVd in Wembley at a friends house, it was class!

    Heartless - Kanye West
  2. Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
  3. John Mayer's latest album, great stuff. Relaxing.
  4. Cartoon World (live) from the remastered second disc of Boy

  5. Haha, I'm our resident JM fanboy

    Weightless- All Time Low

  6. Ahh nice, never really looked into his songs although I know many of them. Just listened to some other albums on Spotify this evening. Great stuff. Better than Jamie Cullum or Jason Mraz.

All we ever do is say goodbye is a masterpiece too. Probably gonna buy his albums soon enough.

Continuum is his best, easily, but starting at Room for Squares and working your way chronologically is a good way to go too. Really unveils bit by bit how his songwriting evolved into something I believe to be unmatched.

Thanks mate, will do it. Never old enough to discover new artists.
  9. Speaking of John Mayer, he is ill and has cancelled his last 5 european shows, included one in Madrid (at the Rick In Rio festival), today evening. I wasn't attending, but I was looking forward to the excellent broadcast that Rock In Rio always provides us....

Read that indeed, also cancelled his shows in Amsterdam here. Too bad.
  11. By the way, and ending with this complete off-topic-ness , today I listened to the Continuum album and, honestly, I've noticed a slight similarty between Vultures (by John Mayer) and the Bling-Confession Of A King (by The Killers):

    Vultures

    Down to the wire
    I wanted water but
But I'll walk through the fire
If this is what it takes
    To take me even higher

    Bling (Confession of a King)

    Higher and higher,
    We're gonna take it,
    Down to the wire,
    We're gonna make it,
    Out of the fire,
    Higher and higher.

    Anyone noticed?
