    Just wondering that I have never heard this version. For me U2 played it never better again. Bono's Voice and Edges guitar are fantastic!!!



  5. This version is great, but you should check out the Tribute to the heroes version. I think that version was played on the night of 11 september 2001, that version is great, the first scream of Bono always give me goosbumps.

    By the way does anybody here know if there are other bands than U2 who also play snippets ?

  6. Yes, there are other singers who make snippets into other songs. Now comes to my mind Chris Martin from Coldplay, who often snippets "Human" (by The Killers) into Viva La Vida. It fits really well and now I snippet it as well each time I hear VLV ... Sting also did snippets during some of his songs, I once heard him snippeting U2's Bad and Ben. E. King's Stand By Me during Every Breathe You Take...

    But I haven't heard any artist doing snippets continuously like Bono does.

My personal experience from Vienna is that the sound in the inner circle is not that great - there are small speakers under the stage and if you are right in the front it is them you get the sound from, not the huge ones on the construction. Bono sounded ridiculously high-pitched and Adam and Larry were drowned out a bit. If I ever go to a 360 show again I will go for a place outside the pit.
