1. I am a looooong time U2 fan, but this was my first concert. Obviously I don't have anything to compare it to. Based on the ticket price I was expecting a LOT. Being a stadium show I was expecting the sound to be sub-standard.

My expetations for the show were exceded and the sound in section 123 was just short of amazing. I understand the sound was bad-ish up top, so I am glad I sprung for the $250 seats. The crowds in the lot for 5+ hours before the show were great as were all the people around my seats. I saw kid around 10 years old and a lady at least 60...she was rocking out the entire show. I guess if she was 30-ish when JTree came out then she is right on the mark at 60-something. It was my favorite concert of my 44 years. Only Neil Young in a small venu beats the sound.

I have yet to read anything about the guy Bono pulled up on stage with he U.S. flag during SBS. I thought it was pretty darn cool, but often wonder if that stuff is staged. Any thoughts from the rest of you?

I was a bit bummed at NLOTH but you can't play them all. UltraV is one of my all time favs so was glad they kept that in the shortened set.

I think the bootleg is pretty darn good, but have for sure heard better. Still nice to hear "your" night. Thanks for doing that!

I keep trying to talk my wife into flying to Vegas in a few Fridays...no luck so far. Knowing what I know now I for sure would have taken some time off and hit up NJ, CVille, Raleigh.

Thanks guys for a fantastic night!

Here is the view from my seats:
  2. Great review, very glad that you had a good time.

The Claw looks better each night, fantastic
  3. Only my second time seeing U2, last time was Zoo TV. I was on the floor and had an amazing experience. I have been completely revitalized as a U2 fan. They lost me for awhile in the 90's, but I have decide to go back and give those years another listen. So far so good!
