  2. No reason to get excited imo, we heard so many rumours last months that I will get exicted when we finally hear something new or an official announcement.
  3. With this one things just point to it being more plausible than the others. Maybe that's why it was made up (if it was).

    Nice consistent set of rumours - all makes sense.

    They had all of 2012 and the best part of 2013 to make an album - assuming they took a few months off in 2011. Quite enough!

  10. Obviously it's just a rumour, but everything that has happened in the last few weeks all points towards something such as an album or single release. With all the previous rumours, we haven't had any (or much) band activity coinciding with them. Fingers crossed
  11. It seems that Adam Clayton, told 98FM radio, would have said the following about the new U2 album:

    On the state of the disc recording and its upcoming release:

    "We're still in it, we are almost finished and the album should be out early next year [2014]"

    About the sound of the new album:

    "It's kind of a return to the old U2, but U2 maturity of the last 10 years ... an interesting combination"

    Have also confirmed that Adam will have 12 new songs and that they intend to have them completed by the end of November and enjoy Christmas.
