    Something refreshing will do good, maybe not in the charts but for U2 fans it will. Ordinary Love does good now, because of Mandela's dead, but just sounds so mehhhhh. Nothing suprising in there.

    yeah, ordinary love is good but a little cheesy i just think that they have enough money now and it might be their final album so theres no reason to hold back, just make something interesting... and "classic" albums were represented very well during latest tours so i would like them to bring some Pop songs back!
  2. U2 needs a little more cheese, to be honest.

    Also, there's no way they will bring anything remotely like Pop back. As much as some fans enjoyed Pop, I don't think the band had much preference for it.
  3. The world doesn't need any more electronica-fused music.

    It needs some rock and some guitars, and not toned-down/dialed-back guitars.


    However; if it's slightronica with substance and depth and meaning, by all means bring it back.

  8. They just need to make music with balls. Doesn't matter if rock, electronic or alternative... Just fuck the charts, fuck the trends, fuck money and do some good bunch of tracks... They should feel it by heart not by pocket...
