1. Yhea, White As Snow and Cedars Of Lebanon came to mind (even if they aren't exactlt the same concept, but still).

  2. NLOTH was planed to be a conceptual album, from beginning to start. At the end they decided to mess it up, which is why Linear ended up so weird. Corbijn made his version and then U2 changed half of the songs on the album.
  3. I know, I know. But White As Snow is the one that ended up ressembling that concept the most!
  4. I wouldn't mind a concept album! Only if it was done better like you guys were saying
  5. Not directly album-related, but U2 does now have an official Google+ page:

    https://plus.google.com/+U2/

Something's moving... No doubt about it.
  6. It's alright having these profiles, but when no-one likes or follows them they're pretty pointless. Ok, the Google+ profile is quite new but their Twitter account has barely any followers and that's been going a while.
  7. That has more to do with the fact that they never do anything relevant with it... If the band members tweeted directly from that account I'm sure people would actually follow them. I hope they start using them more during the next "era".
  8. The Edge has probably forgotten his twitter password lol

    165.827 followers, huh?

It was @U2.com until a few weeks ago and lots of casual fans didn't think it was actually U2 tweeting from there.

U2 on Facebook, on the other hand, has 16 million followers though - just a little bit under Muse (17m) or The Rolling Stones (16.5m), but well over The Killers (9m), Pearl Jam (8.9m) or Bruce Springsteen (3.8m) - just to name a few.
  10. Yeah, it was a joke. Our April's Fools happens on Dec. 28th
