1. I fully realize the fact that they have these big families and commitments, but when it takes so long to put out an album and then act so nonchalant about music and yet salivate at the mouth for yet more money I start to lose faith in the current incarnation, as great as No Line was it doesn't feel accomplished.

Same here. I remember when we first heard those, and that was the piece I was also the most excited for. Let's keep our fingers crossed...
  3. crap i never heard those. the first video sounds awesome. i want that song now

  4. C'mon Drew, it wasn't all bad. The noughties was still a pretty good decade. Well I enjoyed it.
  5. Maybe they could look at another Rattle&Hum, minus the Movie. Have 6/7 new songs and some from the first legs of the 360 tour

  6. Not overly bad but a lot of it just didn't get me. I prefer HTDAAB over ATYCLB. But having Levitate from that decade could make it all better.

I agree on HTDAAB over ATYCLB. And they've come up with some amazing/interesting tracks that never surfaced on albums.

    Levitate
    Mercy
    Winter
Fast Cars (at least not my copy of HTDAAB)
    Big Girls Are Best
    Smile
    Always

That's half way towards are fairly decent album.

I think it was the Australian tour edition (with the slipcase and old dates on the back) that had Fast Cars. Do you have the remix of Fast Cars though?

Stateless was likely recorded in the late 90s but it only surfaced in March 2000 - but by god I love that song and Ground Beneath Her Feet too!!

I now have about 3 official things with Fast Cars remix on it (U2 have absolutely flogged it) and from what I've heard it's the best version out there.

How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (CD)
Unreleased And Rare (2004) + Xanax And Wine (Demo)
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (Single #3, #5)
    All Because Of You (2005)
    Medium, Rare And Remastered (2009)
    Artificial Horizon (2010)

Chances are it'll be a hidden track on Songs Of Ascent or on the next fanclub CD for 2011 - 2013. I hope they don't do something similar with Every Breaking Wave or any other song that forms Ascent because they've more than worn out the new songs (Magnificent in particular) with remixes that fill up a whole CD.

You forgot Best of 2000-2010, but we're OT!

  12. Only a little off-topic. As for 2000 - 2010 if it has remixes I'll go loco.

Maybe Artificial Horizon is Songs Of Ascent and the whole new leg of the tour is gonna be a dance tour!
