1. LOL

    HAHAHA

    OMG

Can we just talk about how hysterical it is that Bono hasn't learned his lesson about playing songs on the beach LOL
  2. Is it throwback Thursday today?

  3. Oceans?

    Was it like this?

    Hold on to the thread
    The currents will shift
    Glide me towards
    You know something's left
    And we're all allowed
    To dream of the next
Oh, oh the next, time we touch

    Uh huh, uh huh
    Uh huh, uh huh

    You don't have to stray
    Tho oceans away
    Waves roll in my thoughts
    Hold tight the ring
    The sea will rise
    Please stand by the shore
Oh, oh, oh, I will be
I will be there once more

I seriously think he does it on purpose. Self promotion.

  5. I sure hope so because that makes more sense than if he doesn't haha
  6. If it is them I kinda like it from what I can hear. I really like it.
  7. Can't believe you can make out lyrics out of that lol
Anyone have an estimate of how much time passes between a beach clip and the release of the songs?

Like how much passed between Get On Your Boots surfaced as a clip and then released?
  8. Sounds like what I imagine Songs of Ascent to have sounded like. Sounds ethereal
  9. He'll yeah I love me some beach clips

There were beach clips from as early as 2006, although I don't know if any of them ended up being a song from NLOTH (I'm sure drewhiggings or someone else knows though). I wouldn't say Bono is playing the finished, complete new album. He's not so dumb. But maybe they have a draft of the whole thing? Or at least the first single, and that's what we're hearing... Who knows.
  11. I think the Beach Clips from 2006 were mostly Rick Rubin tracks and/or tracks that turned into songs for Spider-Man.
