And they gave us a clear taste of what 4 songs on the album would sound like (GOYB, Magnificent, Breathe, UC) months before they were released. Much more accurate than all the pre-release hype that was wafting around, definitely a spoiler for the album though (it's a good thing they weren't clearer)

IIRC there were 5 beach clips, what was the other one? the acoustic sounding, campfire tune most people didnt like. (I can't find the clips on my PC). Maybe that's going to be on SOA

Yeah, I liked the 4 beach clips that came out in 2008. I only know of another one, probably from a Rubin 2006 session. Plus the Spiderman song on youtube - that's very audible, if my memory serves me well.

OK, but, I wondered, why leave out an outstanding piece if your aim is to pull out the next JT? Still, these really are speculations... I really hope it'll be great.

    because it's fake

  5. Aha, certainly is. You'll get the songs downloaded but then they'll ask you to go some porno site and sign up, get a code and all that rubbish.

If they were real leaks, they would be available just like Mercy and on YouTube.

  6. yeh there were fake torrents with songs like that released b4 the album actually leaked.
  7. Thats dissapointing. Oh well.

  8. Or in U2's case, well overdone.

When they order Steak they must ask for it to be cooked by a flamethrower.

  9. I didn't mean that way (I meant having the songs leaked well before release), but I guess overdoing it, production-wise could also be a factor.

''Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.''

  10. I'll answer that quote with live NLOTH beating the shit out of the album version.

For me, they sort of make something great then polish away the likability.
