Shut up. You didn't even watch it.

And the vast majority of people watching would have had nothing to compare it to, so even if it was sub-standard, it really doesn't matter to them.

How many other live broadcasts of a U2 show have you seen (in order to have expectations to live up to?).

that really doesnt matter. general music listeners cant compare this gig to other 360 shows, like we do. I think it's a great thing U2 keep pushing their edge with things like this. I love the fact that they broadcast a gig over the internet, but the gig itself is the thing I'm not happy about. Like you said, below the 360 standard.

I think U2 have put themselves in the picture again, and they were never out of the limelight! I mean, they are selling some shitload of tickets on the biggest tour ever.

you were a tad quicker. and I thought One was beautiful yesterday. There were some pretty good performances after all, but overall it didnt felt good in my opinion. Also I don't think this will be the dvd.

I watched parts and if the others are saying it was below average, i'd definitely find it bad.

And my friends who havent watched any 360 shows were commenting that Bonos voice was off.

    Nice avoidance of the question.

To be honest, I'm not really surprised from you. I think if they came and did a personal performance in your street you'd still find fault with it somehow.

It's the comments from some others that I find surprising.
  7. Im sure that the general audience (I mean Youtube's audience) of this concert had NEVER saw anything this big, this spectacular, this great.

We see it sub-average, because we've lived the biggest times of U2 (I don't refer only to 360, we just know how big they were) ; but the majority of the today's broadcast audience had nothing to compare, and I am SURE that they are all amazed by the performance, the crowd, the sound, the stage...

I watched only from Mysterious Ways to Streets, but it was very worth it. Good performance (not 10/10, ok, but good after all), pretty acceptable voice, etc. Not a highlight of the tour, right, but worth a watch, a listen. It deserves my respect just because they've had the balls to lead a new era of the digital times with a live&worldwide broadcast

I haven't watched it so am in no position to somment on the performance. I'm willing to accept that it was below the standard of other gigs on this tour. That wasn't my point, as I think you know.

They haven't said this will definitely be released, just that it was being filmed for one. If they're not happy with it, I'm sure they'll drop it.

PS I was right about the setlist

PPS What bets the setlist will change now for the last show?

You are right, but that doesnt mean we cant get disappointed. I mean Bono was late a few times. It just could have been better if they released another show. Of course its not a terrible show. Just frustrating to see that Bono WITH autocue is still able to nearly miss a verse in songs they played half of their lives

But still U2 is the best band in the world in my book

logical, one gig cant do any damage to their image

I said filmed concerts not live, this is the first live one ive seen.

I've watched Sydney 93 & Lovetown, Under A Blood Red Sky, 4th of July Paris, Boston, Popmart Mexico & Slane and ive heard heaps of other boots too.

And no ones saying they're not the best band in the world anymore.
It's just that I couldn't call that show a performance by the best band in the world.
