1. That's very true! I don't know what's the problem with U2 and DVDs, but

    - Mexico 1997 was cool - a great show - but the voice wasn't top. Leeds was globally better, I think, but that's a small quibble.
    - Boston 2001 - that's a bit of a mystery of a DVD. There's a kind of sadness to it.
    - Chicago 2005 - that's another mystery. They should have filmed the Saitama shows - they really should have.
    - Milan 1992 - that would have been one of their best DVDs ever, together with Red Rocks.
    - Milan 2005 - great show, but we only got half of it...

OK, Red Rocks and Sydney 1993 are awesome, but still...
  2. Sounds good to me....looking forward to tomorrow.
  3. just give me blu ray. At least we will hear and see the dodgy performance in hi-def

  4. Nah, those will probably be fixed with footage from Vegas.
  5. I have registered me on that Live dvd site, but I didn't get a mail yet!
Did you get a register confirm mail or what?
    Sorry for bad English.

Chicago 2005 had a few mistakes in it. That's what annoys me about it. They could have easily taken Elevation from another night.

I watched the whole of Milan 2005 on E4 (channel in the UK if you're wondering) and it was much better than Chicago imo. The fans were much better as well. Remember, Italian fans are crazy, but in a good way. They also recorded 2 of 3 nights at Croke Park in the Vertigo Tour. I would like to have seen how they turned out.

Wow, didn't know Milan had been broadcasted in its entirety. And didn't know about Croke Park either - these were awesome nights too. Hopefully this stuff will be realized sooner or later.

Dont think it was ever broadcast in its entirity in the UK i watch the C4 and E4 broadcasts and they were shorter than the DVD - but yes croke park was recorded but has never surfaced to date.
  10. if they fuck up the blu ray we can have a raffle for site managers job
  11. For me, it's just exciting to have another official release rolling out. I'm excited for the announcement, the wait, the packaging, the extras, the quality...I know the show wasn't the best one of the tour, but neither are pretty much any of the other DVDs they officially released, and they've all gone down in history one way or the other, at least to us. I'm going to embrace this.

Also, it feels good to be home! Perhaps not the BEST place to address this, but I was just on vacation for over a week, and it feels great to be back in front of the computer at home sweet home, sharing with you guys and getting my U2 on Hope none of you thought I got lost, if you noticed i left
