1. mmmm don't know,
there are shots i don't see in the youtube version for sure...
but the audio (like breathe) is sure from the youtube broadcast...
mayby they could make a trailer with teh vidoe material and the audio from the youtube broadcast...

Can't see if it is any good or bad, because they mix too fast in the trailer with songs and shots from different songs between each other...

But a cool shot from the hand from Edge and Bono (until teh end of the world) on the end... that shot was never in the youtube broadcast...

Looking forward to the release date... can't wait to see this stage in HD on my television

  2. Tomorrow is the day. They'll broadcast 1 hour of show here by 23:00 local time (UTC -3) and I'll be able to watch it in HD...Can't wait for it, and I believe it will give me a great idea about the dvd...

Aidan, you know what to do... tape tape tape

AND i hope you'll have a great watch, as there in Brazil you didn't have the chance to see a 360°-show (and i did) you deserve it
  4. Breathe was cut off because of the terrible echo sound heard during the whole song, especially at the beginning when Larry hits the drums.

It's hard to believe they weren't able to correct this.

They could've used another audio source from another gig to overdub the troubled parts of the song and no one would've noticed. Instead of that, they just removed the entire track. It's a shame, because I think starting the gig with Larry alone is such a great way to honor the founder of the band.

where did you hear of this sound problem? Doesn't sound plausible

Full youtube version available. Bootleg, obviously, extracted when it was still available, I guess. They're being sold in street markets here in Mexico. Obviously, Mexico.

  7. If you remember, at the beginning of Breathe, as Larry starts drumming, echoes are heard, distorting the real sound. The same happens when Edge starts playing. Even during Get on your boots, it's quite noticeable.
  8. IMO, Larry's intro had these problems on every concert, it never sounded enough sharp and strong..

that's because the youtube audio stream was messed up. The audio used for the DVD will have been perfected.

The youtube broadcast used some soundboard and some audience mixed together. They didn't have them synced correctly for part of the broadcast therefore resulting in the echo.
  10. Yep it was not on the 3IEM matrix, so it was definetely something that went wrong during the broadcast, not something with the recording.
  11. I guess that we won't ever know (with an "official" explanation I mean) why Breat was cut, sadly.
