1. Recorded it, haven't watched it yet.

Flicked on when it was on Sky 2 an hour after Sky 1 though and saw a bit of Vertigo and then a bit of Crazy Tonight and then a little Sunday Bloody Sunday. And have to say that initially I'm pleased with the visuals but not too keen on the sound. Just sounds empty. Lacks all the energy of a live show. The main problem is the lack of bass, it was pumping at Sheffield and Wembley.

Will be watching in full a bit later in the week.

I noticed a lot of bass on it? Then again, different speakers and such.
  3. enjoyed Ultraviolet, rest was average for me and the editing got on me tits, felt divorced from the concert

Completely agree with your editing comment. Wish there were mannnny more shots like at 3:03 in the video. The "you bury your treasure" verse is amazing in the vocal, though- always has me smiling.
  5. Baffled by the lack of atmosphere. Even if the crowd was absolutely lifeless (and I doubt it was), they could have made them sound amazing by putting more audience into the mix. The singalong during I Still Haven't Found just leaves me empty. Baffled.

If it wasnt for the Mexican contingent at the gig, there would have been no atmosphere at all
  7. I just saw the Blu Ray and single disc on sale at Target this morning. I thought June 3 was the release date. Would have picked one up but I already preordered online.
  8. Should be out tomorrow then in Australia - not sure if I should go for the deluxe or super-deluxe or just the regular disc.

  9. I see what people mean now. It's too muddy - in an open area like that, the sound should be more expanded, rather than sounding like a dark, deep cave.

The vocals are quite clear though, however fixed they may be. It does sound a little lifeless but then I'm going by the YT clip; I'll watch the DVD when I get it and see.

It's amazing how during the whole song you can't see even one face from the crowd...
  11. I liked Ultraviolet alot. Something I don't like about the filming and I didn't like it when I first watched it on YouTube is the camera shot under Larry's hi-hat which is focused onto his face. A better place to put it would be nice...
