  1. I've listened to countless versions of Miracle Drug, some with the "Edge is from the future" intro, some without. The one I'm looking for is one that Bono specifically mentions in U2 by U2-

    He says something to the tune of, "And I asked him...'whats it like?' And he looked around, and then back at me and just said...'Its better'", and then they started the song. All the ones I've heard just generally say something about "This is to the hopes that the future is brighter. This is for all the scientists..." blah blah blah.

    Does anyone have/know which show that particular instance Bono talked about is in? I'm dying to hear it, and it would really put the cherry on top of my Vertigo boots.

    Just thinking about it, envisioning that moment at that particular show, almost brings a tear to my eye. It's worded so beautifully, and I just imagine the Miracle Drug intro taking over at that exact point, leading the band into the song...

    ...and there I go again, drifting into the fantasy...
