1. On October 10th, I decided to begin a quest to listen to each one of the 582 U2 tracks on my iPod before the end of the year. Normally, it wouldn't be hard, say..in the summer, when I wasn't in school, and having to worry about applying for colleges and getting my homework done. But its' been pretty steady so far, and I think at the rate I'm going, I'll finish on time. It's also been a HELL of a lot of fun.

I decided to try this because so many of my U2 tracks have gone un-listened since I downloaded them. The most common problem would be that I'd download a complete Vertigo show, make it to "Bullet the Blue Sky", and get caught up in something else, leaving the second half unfinished. Listening to the shows I have all the way through has been INCREDIBLE!

So anyway- go ahead and try it! My bootleg collection isn't as big as I'd like it to be, because I only have so much space on my iPod for U2 (other music needs listened to, too!)....but here's what I have, bootleg-wise. Already accomplished shows are in bold. This list is alphabetical.

And a few random tracks from random shows here and there that truly stand out. I've listened to many of these before- but not ALL of them. The goal is to listen to every single track, even if it's been istened to before. I have all of U2's albums as well, so those all count too. All the rare, unreleased songs, TV performances, BBC Sessions- you name it.

I'm tracking and reviewing each individual show/album/listening period on my LiveJournal- http://u2jok3r.livejournal.com/...so feel free to leave me comments or simply read and see what I've enjoyed! I've reviewed pretty thoroughly so far!
