Hi this is a topic where im going to share my thoughts and views on my fave rock band since 85 when i was 16,well the Album U/F saved my life songs like Bad,Promenade,MLK and pride saved my life back then and the song Bad is my fave and go to song when im feeling down .so many U2 songs inspire and lift me up i often dance alone to many of there songs i often pretend to be Bono ,Larry ,Adam and The Edge depends how i feel air guitar ,drums or just pretending to be Bono LOL,i feel U2 keeps the teenager in me alive and im 41 LOL .to me this is my little corner of the world where i can express my thoughts on U2,
    bye for now .

  4. im obbssesed with disappearing act and Yoshino Blossom ,
    to me these songs are awsome Disappearing is haunting sad happy and the piano part just ads to it
  5. to me songs like Lady with a spinning head,Windows in the sky,the sweetest thing,Electrical storm,miss sarajevo,neon lights,dreaming with tears in my eyes,A celebration ,saturday night,where did it all go wrong,Big girls are best,Winter,Smile, Mercy,Disapearing act etc...
    are as good in some cases better than songs on there albums .
  6. Along with Springsteen, U2's music reaches me like no other band can. Whenever I feel down, I stick on Mercy, whenever Man Utd won the European Cup, I put on Beautiful Day, whenever theres a special moment in my life, I play One. The songs just speak to me and when the musics on I just forget about everything else, for a while. You take a song like acrobat that tells you not to let anyone fuck you over, and you feel great. The band are a big part of my life, and whenever I hear someone slag Bono, I just think, your loss!! Youve never heard Bad or Running to Stand Still, I pity you.

    U2 forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.............

    yes U2 are a soundtrack to my life there songs are on my wedding video i couldnt believe my wife agreed ,im always wearing a u2 t/shirt or u2 cap i carry a pic of u2 in my wallet is that weird LOL.anyway i think U2 music is one of a kind i listen to other artists but U2 stands out by a mile .
  8. Now i have decided to make a three cd best of U2 compilation from Boy to NLOTH ,
    so i can put all my u2 cds in storage ,I have all my U2 songs on my ipod and my ipod is with me most times i will post my cd compilation later .

  11. Awsome song Mercy even my 7 year old boy loves this song ,its so funny when my boy sings" i was drinking some wine and it turned to blood "thats a pretty deep line .

    thats cd 1 this was a very dificult Cd to do but these are my fave from Boy,October war and U/Fire.
    next will be Joshua tree and R/Hum side b songs also.
