Pride - Long 4:41 version?

Anyone know the recording history of Pride?

I finally heard the 12", 4:41 version of Pride, at least as shown on this YouTube video:

I like it a lot - the lower pitch, the extra solo, how Bono is a little hoarse around the 3 minute mark, the 2nd-to-last chorus that's cut out of the album version.

Was it recorded at this speed / pitch (B-flat), then sped up for the album to fit 4 minutes on the radio?

Or was it recorded at album speed (B-natural) and then slowed down for the single?

Nevermind...

I just checked www.myspace.com/u2 and streamed the 4:41 single version. It's at the same high pitch as the original.

I just wonder how the hell that YouTube video I found is also 4:41 in length and yet slower / lower pitch?

Eh, don't even think it's worth it to speculate at this point.

I was just curious.
