1. Probably like 2-3 songs shorter than the usual 360 setlist that they will be playing around that time. I cannot wait to see the broadcast
  2. I think they'll stick pretty close to the 360 setlist but they'd be wise to play what the general public know. They should definitely play One and Beautiful Day along with crowd pleasers like Streets, Pride, and SBS. Also, they probably shouldn't play any more than four or five songs from No Line... if they want to keep the crowd into it - and I agree with the recent post stating that Your Blue Room should be omitted. I'm a huge fan but I was quite bored when they played it in T.O.
  3. Something tells me theyll go for a complete Greatest Hits set.
  4. Even though they'll already have played a few 360° shows, and I believe they'll truly change up the setlist for those- they'll revert back to this for the fest. I'm calling this setlist now-

    Breathe
    No Line on the Horizon
    Get On Your Boots
    Magnificent
    Mysterious Ways
    Beautiful Day
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    Elevation
Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of
Until the End of the World
    Stay (Faraway, So Close!)
    The Unforgettable Fire
    City of Blinding Lights
    Vertigo
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
Pride (In the Name of Love)
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (studio)
    One
Where the Streets Have No Name
    -
    Ultraviolet
    With or Without You
    Moment of Surrender

If it has to be shorter, they'll drop...

Until the End of the World
    City of Blinding Lights
Pride (In the Name of Love)

  5. I think Red Rocks, Sarajevo, even the opening nights of tours like ZooTV, PopMart, and 360° would qualify for more interesting than a festival. They've done this before, just not with newer material.

How well would Boots and MoS go down at Glastonbury?

  7. I think Boots rocks live, personally, not sure how they feel about it still. And I think they're pretty attached to MOS as a closer, so I dont think it'll go anywhere for the tour, and I don't think they'd change the closer just for glatso, especially since MOS is one of their singles and also on a few "song of the year" lists.

  8. Boots is great live, much better than on NLOTH. And MoS is beautiful live too. I think most U2 fans are unduly worried about Glastonbury performance, they're going to create a new Glasto legend. The audience will be open-minded, receptive and create a dazzling atmosphere.

  9. 1. Get On Your Boots
    2. No Line On The Horizon
    3. Magnificent
    4. Mysterious Ways
    5. Beautiful Day
    6. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    7. Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of (Acoustic)
    8. Until the End of the World
    9. The Unforgettable Fire
    10. City of Blinding Lights
    11. Vertigo
    12. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    13. Pride (In the Name of Love)
    14. MLK
    15. Walk On

    16. One
    17. Where the Streets Have No Name
    18. I Will Follow

    19. Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
    20. With or Without You

something simple like this is going to go down I bet. ahha something really safe and MLK, Walk On and One probably won't have a preachy speech about africa or suukyi.
  10. I thought the headliner sets were even short. I know they get longer slots, but I didn't think they were able to put on 2.5 hour shows like U2 has been doing on 360°...even dropping MOS and one other song, putting them at 21 tracks, doesn't lose them a half hour, and I didn't think festival headliners usually went over 2 hours?

I could be wrong though, and please correct me if I am.

I'll correct you but not on the festival thing, but on the 360. No show from this tour has been longer than 2:15 hours.

Now that you mention it, you're right...they went on something like 8:43 in Chicago, and were done promptly at 11, that's only 2:15.
