1. Recorded at Montreal's Olympic stadium on Wed 6th July 1977 this is seen by many to be the last true Pink Floyd show by the 'classic' lineup and also the show that Influenced Roger Waters to write their next album, The Wall.

The last show of the long and difficult 'In The Flesh' tour in support of the Animals album and the band, especially Roger Waters were not in a good state of mind. The crowd at this show are extremely rowdy and as you will dramatically hear, Roger Waters is not going to put up with it... This show contains the now legendary 'spitting incident' where at the end of 'Pigs (three different ones)' Waters brutally calls over a particularly rowdy and inebriated member of the crowd and then spits in his face. This incident left him so shocked at his actions and feeling so alienated from the audience that he came up with the concept of actually building a wall between the band and the crowd.
The show contains 3 encores played in an attempt to calm down and placate the crowd who were apparently on the verge of rioting in front of the stage. The final encore of an improvised 'Drift Away Blues' did not involve David Gilmour who had left the stage in disgust leaving second guitarist Snowy White to be Floyds guitarist for one song. The songs Money and Wish You Were Here would not be played again by the 'classic' lineup until their last ever gig at Live8 in 2005...

    Enjoy!
