    but more people wonder how its possible ...
    I mean, I am an audio-visual artist, working freelance as courier and stagehand etc .... so, no high paid job ... and therefore i do have to make sacrifices .... and choices ... all the time .....
    its a matter of living pretty cheap, for example, i mean if you drink tea, instead of lets say, 3 bottles of coca cola in a week ... that is an easy 250 euro a year ...... most importantly is that I dont like fizzy drinks ... so its no effort not drinking coke ..... it also helps I dont like to drink alcohol, and when I go out, its hardly that I go out to commercial places .... when I go its mostly parties we do ourselves, where a drink is 50 cents and no entry fee etc ... free for the free .....
    i guess visiting u2 concerts suits my lifestyle ... uhum .... it helps when you dont have a girlfriend or kids or an expensive house and time consuming job .... but even with those, there are possibilities, if you want ....

    i mean if you go out one night to a regular club - bar etc .... it wont be very hard to spend 50 euro .... well, take three of those nights, for me I swap those for a GA ticket and a flight ....
    and to be honest, those nights I will happily spend painting and listening to another great bootleg, taking me back to the great summer of 2009 when I saw the lads 14 times ....

    and I was very lucky to have had a great temporary project in sept and oct this year .... taking back suncream from drugstores and supermarkets after the summer .... worked loads of hours, had no life at all (that was the hardest thing, putting my creative me, in the fridge for 7 weeks) it was nottin but work and sleep for 7 weeks .... but these 7 weeks paid for almost my entire trip in 2010 ..... and filled a small gap that was left from the 2009 run .... but knowing that flights and concert tickets are bought already .... and the joy of knowing what is coming up in 2010 is priceless ....

    and maybe its all making up for lost chances (missed out on zoo tv and pop tours ) ....
    but its what I want to do ....
    and fuck it if some think I am mad .... others spend 3000 euro on a wedding dress ..... just to name a silly example .....

  12. Got a ticket for the NY show in July (would be the first time I've seen them live outside Scotland), not 100% sure I'll be able to make it over for it yet, tho'
