1. Hey all

Just wondering does anybody else love Edge's voice?
What's your favorite line or harmony of his?

Or do you not like his voice?

Sorry if there is already a topic on this

  2. I love it. He's an uncomparably better vocalist now than he was in the early 80's. Can't stand what he does in SBS on Red Rocks DVD. On the other hand, this is absolutely mind blowing. He can't sing on full chest like Bono can and doesn't have a range like Bono does, but he still is one of the best backup vocalists of all times. I hope he does more singing on the next album, a duet with Bono would be cool.
  3. He knows how to hit the high notes. A great backup singer, his range is not too big. But in some ways he is better than Bono.

    An highlight: SBS during Popmart,
  4. I think melodically he is a better singer but Bono can put a lot more passion into singing which I love too

Any fav harmonies? I always love hearing the "Don't turn around" lines in Wild Horses

BTW that Wanderer backing vocals is pretty sweet
  5. Edge's voice is amazing. Just listened to Miracle Drug, I love his verse in that one. There are numerous tracks with nice backing vocals from him. We shouldn't forget Van Diemen's Land as well. And thumbs up for that The Wanderer performance.
  6. Oh God yeh the Miracle Drug line is probably one of my favorite lines ever :O

  7. Beneath the noise
    Below the din
    I hear your voice
    It's whispering
    In science and in medicine
    I was a stranger
    You took me in
